Loto del Sur

Travel Essentials

T1 Open · 6:00 - 22:00

Gate-side in T1, Loto del Sur runs 6:00–22:00 daily

This shop in Terminal T1 sits airside and focuses on travel-sized personal care and small gifts, not snacks or tech. Hours are 6:00 to 22:00, so it covers the first Cartagena departures and most late-evening flights. It’s a quick stop if you forgot hand cream, need a small present before flying home, or want something nicer than generic duty free brands.

Loto del Sur leans into Colombian-made beauty and skincare products, with plenty of compact bottles you can throw straight into a 100 ml liquids bag. Expect mid-range to slightly high prices compared to a city pharmacy, but you’re paying for branded packaging and airport convenience inside T1. Stock skews more toward lotions, soaps, and fragrances than hardcore “travel essentials” like chargers or neck pillows.

This isn’t a grab-and-go snacks stop: no sandwiches, minimal drinks, and almost no tech accessories. If you need cables or a power bank, handle that elsewhere in Rafael Núñez International before heading to T1’s gates. Loto del Sur works better as a last-minute gift stop: small soaps and scented items under about US$15–25 make easy souvenirs that still feel specific to Colombia.

Plan 5–10 minutes here, tops, so you’re not crowding your boarding time at T1. Test scents quickly, keep liquids volume in mind for security at your next connection, and ask for tissue or a small box if the item is a gift so it survives the overhead bin.
