Gate side in T2, WHSmith is the grab-and-go stop
Right in Terminal 2 after security, WHSmith works as the basic supply run before a short-haul SAS or Norwegian flight. You get magazines, English-language paperbacks, snacks, drinks and last-minute chargers all in one hit, so you don’t have to roam the rest of T2’s shops before boarding from the A and B gates.
Opening hours generally track the main T2 schedule, with early-morning operations that match first wave departures around 05:00 and late closing aligned with the final evening flights. Prices sit at typical Copenhagen Airport levels, so expect to pay more than city supermarkets for bottled water, soft drinks and candy, but roughly the same as other T2 convenience outlets.
Stock is airport-standard: grab 0.5L water, soft drinks in cans, basic sandwiches, chips and chocolate bars alongside a full rack of Danish and international newspapers. If you want proper hot food, you’re better off at one of Terminal 2’s cafés; use WHSmith mainly for snacks and reading material rather than a full meal before a 2–3 hour hop.
Payment is easy: cards are accepted across the board, and staff are used to quick tap payments from EU and non-EU cards. You can also grab simple travel accessories like USB cables, basic headphones and power adapters if you forgot yours at home before reaching gates A10–A23 or B2–B19.
Tip: if your gate in Terminal 2 is already posted, stop at this WHSmith on the way once, then head straight to the gate area instead of doubling back through the concourse later.
