Hermes

2

Just past security in Terminal 2, Hermes sits opposite Schengen gates.

This is the classic orange-box stop at CPH’s Terminal 2, on the airside concourse used by many European carriers. It runs standard airport retail hours, roughly first departures to last, so you can usually browse from early morning check-ins through late-night flights.

The boutique carries the usual big-ticket suspects: silk carré scarves, ties, small leather goods, and a limited run of bags and ready-to-wear. Pricing tracks other EU Hermes stores, with VAT baked in, so don’t expect “airport discount” tags. You can, however, reclaim Danish VAT if your itinerary and spend qualify, which can make a €700 wallet or belt sting a bit less.

Staff here are used to tight connections and 20-minute browsing windows, so service tends to be quick and to the point. Stock is smaller than a flagship city store, so exotic-skin bags or hard-to-find watch references probably won’t be in the cases. You’re more likely to walk out with a €200–€300 scarf, tie, or fragrance than a Birkin.

For a time check: if your flight boards from Terminal 3 Schengen gates, you’ll need about 10 minutes’ walk from Hermes back through the connector. Build in that 10-minute buffer, plus your airline’s boarding start, before you ask them to wrap anything in three layers of ribbon and tissue.
