Online reviews skip it, but Quiznos still sits in Terminal 1
Most COS food chatter focuses on chains like Starbucks and the small bar near the gates, but Quiznos in Terminal 1 flies under the radar with almost no traveler feedback online. It’s post-security on the concourse level, so you only see it after TSA, and it mainly catches people walking to the gates for flights on carriers like Delta and United.
Quiznos is part of the SSP America concession package announced for Colorado Springs Airport in 2023, so the shop feels newer than some of the older COS options. Expect the standard toasted subs menu: classic turkey, Italian, and a few hot sandwiches that usually sit in the $9–$14 range, plus chips and fountain drinks that push a basic meal to around $15–$18 after tax.
Hours at COS tend to track the first and last departures, so Quiznos typically opens by around the 6:00 a.m. morning bank and winds down after the last evening flights close boarding near 9:00–10:00 p.m. Don’t count on late-night food after that. If you’re on an early Frontier or Southwest departure, this is one of the few spots where you can grab something made to order instead of a pre-wrapped box.
With no detailed reports from regulars yet, the safe play is a straightforward toasted sub and a fountain drink from the self-serve soda station. At an airport this small, lines rarely rival Denver’s crowds, but a single 10-minute queue can matter if boarding starts 30 minutes before departure at a nearby gate like A3 or A5.
Tip: COS security usually runs quickly, but still clear TSA at least 60 minutes before departure; order at Quiznos only after you know your gate, and carry your sub to sit within sight of the boarding door.
