Gate-side in T3, this is Cochin’s Momo Cafe
Momo Cafe sits airside in T3 at Cochin International Airport, near several international departure gates, so you don’t have to clear security twice to eat. It’s one of the few branded café-style spots in the terminal, and it targets departing passengers more than meeters and greeters in T1 or T2.
The menu leans on pan-Indian café fare with some continental staples: think momos, sandwiches, simple curries, and basic pasta alongside tea and coffee. Prices run in the mid-range for an Indian airport; expect roughly ₹250–₹450 for snacks and about ₹400–₹700 for mains, plus bottled water around ₹40–₹60. Card payments and UPI usually work, which helps if you’re running down your last rupees.
Hours typically mirror international flight banks in T3, with the cafe open from early morning departures through late-night red-eyes. If you have a 6:00–7:00 a.m. flight, you can usually count on grabbing a coffee or masala tea here before boarding. Late-night flyers on Gulf routes also report finding hot food options when many smaller outlets in the terminal are already closed.
Portion sizes are closer to city cafés than lounge snacks, so a plate of momos or a sandwich plus a drink will usually hold you through a 3–4 hour sector to the Middle East or domestic connections. It’s counter-service, so you order, pay, and wait for your number rather than table service, which keeps dwell time closer to 20–30 minutes for a quick meal.
Tip: If your gate in T3 is still showing “Wait in lounge” 45–60 minutes before departure, eat at Momo Cafe first; once your gate changes to “Go to gate,” walking to the farther stands can easily eat 10–15 minutes each way.
