Terminal 1 Parking

Short-stay

Two-minute walk from T1 for true short-stay parking

Terminal 1 Parking at Mohammed V (CMN) sits directly in front of T1, about a 2-minute walk from the doors, so it works best for quick drop-offs, pickups, or very short trips. This is an open-air surface lot signed for short-stay use, and it lines up with the main departures entrance for Terminal 1, so you’re on the curb almost as soon as you lock the car.

Pricing runs on a sliding hourly scale: a UK guide pegs CMN short-term rates at roughly MAD 5 for the first hour, MAD 8 for two hours, MAD 10 for three hours, MAD 12 for four hours, and MAD 15 for five hours. The guide doesn’t split T1 and T2, which suggests Terminal 1 Parking follows the same common tariff as the other terminal-front lots. That means you’re paying for proximity here, not a discount vs. other official parking at CMN.

This lot is clearly marked for short-stay near Terminal 1, so treat anything over a day or two as pushing its intent. Surface layout means no height issues for regular cars or small vans, and you roll straight from the parking rows to T1’s security and check-in desks in a couple of minutes. If you’re meeting an arriving passenger in T1, you can comfortably park, walk in, and reach the public arrivals area within about 5–7 minutes total.

For quick handoffs, that MAD 5 first-hour band makes sense if you’re timing around scheduled arrivals and departures at T1. Past three to four hours (MAD 10–12 range), the bill starts to creep up, so for longer stays it’s worth comparing with longer-term options serving both T1 and T2. One tip: keep some small notes or coins in dirhams ready for the pay machine, so you’re not hunting for change when you’re trying to get back on the N1 highway.
