Curbside Valet

Valet parking

$40 per day buys a true pull-up-and-hand-over setup.

Curbside Valet at CLT sits right on the departures curb outside the Main terminal, so you roll up, unload, and pass the keys to an attendant in under two minutes. No shuttles, no ramps, no dragging bags through a deck. If you travel with kids, golf clubs, or trade‑show cases, this is the least walking you’ll do at Charlotte Douglas.

Rates run roughly $40 per day, on the high side compared with the CLT Daily Decks at around half that, but you’re paying to skip the 10–15 minute shuttle loop. Service operates in line with Main terminal flight banks, so early‑morning departures around 5:00 a.m. and late‑night arrivals near midnight are covered, but always confirm current hours if you land after 12:00 a.m.

Drop-off works like a hotel front drive: pull into the marked Curbside Valet zone on the upper level, show your ID, grab a claim ticket, and head straight to the ticketing counters inside the Main terminal, which sit less than 100 yards from the curb. On return, you call the number on your ticket once you have your bags at baggage claim and they bring the car back to the same upper-level curb in about 5–15 minutes.

There’s no car wash or fuel service baked into the base price, and tipping the valet a few dollars at drop-off or pickup is still standard. If your trip runs long, the overstay charges hit at the same daily rate, so a 6-day work week quickly pushes past $200. For trips longer than 5–7 days, most locals switch to the Economy lots and pocket the difference.

Practical tip: build a 15-minute buffer into your pickup time at CLT during weekday peaks between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., when the departures curb clogs and it can take a few extra minutes for your car to reach the lane.
