Orange Lot sits across Park Road from the CLE Smart Garage and runs at a flat $21 per day, credit card only. It’s a surface lot, but once you walk to the garage side you’re under cover all the way into the Main terminal via the enclosed skywalk. Think of it as the value version of the Smart Garage: same protected connection after the first short outdoor stretch, slightly lower rate.

The walk from the closest Orange rows to the terminal runs about 5 minutes; from the far corners, reviewers say it can feel more like 8–10, especially if you hit a short elevator wait in the garage. The lot connects into the Smart Garage structure first, then the skywalk continues straight into check-in. You never cross active roads after you’re in the garage, which is a big deal in snow and ice season.

CLE posts Orange as a $21/day minimum, billed by credit card only at exit. No tickets, no cash, no attendants taking bills. Because it’s open-air, snow and ice still build up around your actual parking spot, but once you hit the garage ramp the walk is fully covered. Regulars say they use Orange on bad-weather days when they don’t want to pay full Smart Garage pricing but still want that indoor segment.

Watch out for two things: when Orange is near full, drivers report looping multiple aisles for 5–10 minutes to find a space, and signage off Inner Drive onto Park Road can be easy to miss when traffic stacks near the baggage deck. Morning rush can also crowd the skywalk and garage elevators.

One practical tip: aim for a spot as close as you can to the Smart Garage side of Orange and add 5–10 minutes to your normal airport arrival time to cover hunting for a space and the indoor walk.
