In Terminal 1 at Jeju (CJU), the Café worth your time is the bingsu spot upstairs on the domestic side, not anything near the international gates. It sits with roughly five other restaurants on the upper level after you walk over from international check-in on the same floor. Prices sit in the airport-$ range, closer to what you’d pay in town than typical terminal gouging.

This cluster is pre-immigration, still in Terminal 1, so you can access it even on an international ticket after you’ve checked bags. Flyers report paying normal café prices for shaved-ice bingsu and coffee instead of the inflated cups you see in Seoul stations. Coffee and basic drinks are fine, and cheaper than many Korean tourist spots, but the unique win is getting a decent bowl of shaved ice inside the airport. Skip expecting much variety once you go through immigration; people report finding basically one gelato counter plus pre-made sandwiches and that’s it.

Regulars run a set play: check bags at international, walk over to the domestic side on the same level, ride one escalator up, eat at the bingsu café, then clear immigration about 60–75 minutes before departure. Tip: build that extra 20-minute cushion into your airport arrival so you can sit upstairs with bingsu instead of killing time at the empty international gate area.
