Gate-side sugar hit for early departures

Cinnabon sits in the Main concourse at Charleston International, right in the post-security gate area near several commuter flights that go out before 8:00 a.m. It’s the main stop in CHS if you want a sweet breakfast instead of another egg-and-cheese sandwich. You’ll smell the cinnamon before you see the sign, which helps if you’re walking from the central atrium toward the boarding zones.

A classic Cinnabon roll usually runs in the $5–$7 range here, with smaller BonBites and Minibons under $5 if you just want a snack before a 45-minute hop to Atlanta or Charlotte. They also pour basic drip coffee and espresso drinks, so you can pair a roll and a medium coffee for under $10, which is on the lower end for CHS concourse pricing.

Service starts early, typically around the first bank of departures near 5:00–5:30 a.m., and stays open into the evening to catch the last Main concourse flights that leave after 8:00 p.m. Morning lines form fast between 6:00 and 7:30 a.m., especially when two or three Delta and American flights board at once, but they move steadily because most orders are grab-and-go.

If you’re hungry, the full-size Classic Roll is the move, with about 800-plus calories that can easily stand in for breakfast on a 2–3 hour flight. Smaller appetites do better with a Minibon or a 4-pack of BonBites that you can share across two adjacent seats in row 18. Bottled water, orange juice, and canned sodas sit in the cooler right by the register, so you can grab drinks without slowing the line.

Tip: If your boarding pass shows “Group 1” or an earlier zone, jump in the Cinnabon line at least 20 minutes before boarding time; the rolls need a minute to box, and CHS sometimes starts boarding a 7:00 a.m. flight at 6:30.
