Christchurch International Airport, International Departures, Christchurch, New Zealand

Gate-side in CHC’s international T, TikiTour catches you right after outbound passport control. It only opens for departing international flights, so you’ll usually see it lit up whenever gates to Australia, Asia, or the Pacific are boarding. This is the main souvenir stop airside, so if you skipped the landside shops, this is your last realistic chance for New Zealand gifts before you board.

TikiTour sits in the international departures zone of Terminal T, past security and immigration, a short walk from the main gate cluster. Shelves lean hard into New Zealand themes: think kiwiana magnets, tiki keyrings, soft toy kiwis, branded caps, All Blacks‑style merch, plus fridge-fillers like chocolate and packaged snacks. Prices run airport-level but not shocking; expect small magnets in the NZD 6–10 range and T‑shirts starting around NZD 30.

Because it only trades during international departures, late-evening long-haul banks typically see the most stock on display. You’ll find quick-grab items near the front counter for under NZD 20 if you just need a token gift. Bigger-ticket items like hoodies and larger plush toys sit toward the back, closer to the corridor leading to the middle gates.

There’s no serious food offering here beyond packaged sweets, so don’t rely on TikiTour for a meal before that 3-hour flight to Sydney. Use it instead for last-minute gifts and kids’ bribes. Tip: do a fast lap first, then pick one or two items; queues can build in the 20 minutes before a 777 or A330 departure starts boarding.
