Gate-side carbs before security waits: Le Crobag in T1

By Terminal 1 standards at CGN, Le Crobag is the straightforward bakery stop: sandwiches, croissants, and pretzels built around decent bread and quick turnover. You’ll find it in the Terminal 1 area, so it fits short-haul departures on Eurowings and other Schengen flights using T1. Expect mostly cold options in the €3–€6 range, plus basic coffee that beats the vending machines but won’t replace your favorite local café.

Food here runs very “German bakery at the station”: think buttered Brezeln, cheese or salami baguettes, and sweet pastries like chocolate croissants, often under €4 apiece. Portions skew grab-and-go rather than full meal plates, so plan on buying two items if you’re actually hungry before a 2–3 hour flight. It’s fine as a breakfast backup if your 07:00 departure from Terminal 1 leaves no time to eat in the city.

Coffee and drinks sit in the €2–€4 band, from small espresso to larger milk drinks and bottled soft drinks from the fridge. Service tempo depends heavily on the time: at 05:30–07:30 and in the late afternoon rush, expect a 5–10 minute shuffle in line, while mid-morning gaps can be almost empty. Card payment is standard here, so you don’t need to dig out spare euro coins at the counter.

Best move: grab a filled baguette or pretzel and a drink here in Terminal 1, then carry it through to your gate so you’re not stuck with just snack kiosks in the seating area. Buy everything in one go; going back through the crowd a second time is what usually eats up extra minutes before boarding starts.
