Whopper cravings hit hardest in CFU Terminal 1
This Burger King sits airside in Terminal 1 at Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport, past security, so you can grab food after clearing the single main checkpoint. It’s one of the few branded US fast-food options in CFU and sticks to the classic menu: Whopper, fries, nuggets, and soft drinks.
Figure on budget pricing for an airport: under $10–$12 should cover a basic Whopper meal with fries and a drink, depending on currency and seasonal airport markups. It’s firmly in the $ tier, cheaper than most sit-down spots in the terminal, and works as a quick pre-flight bite before short hops to Athens or longer flights back to the UK or Germany.
The signature move here is still the Whopper: flame-grilled beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and mayo on a sesame bun. Sides stay standard Burger King: regular fries, onion rings at some locations, and the usual ketchup and mayo packets. If you’re flying early morning out of Terminal 1, don’t count on a full breakfast menu; hours aren’t clearly published, and off-peak schedules in Corfu can be irregular outside high season.
CFU’s single-terminal layout means you’re never more than about a 5–7 minute walk from this Burger King to most gates once you pass through security. Post-security options are limited in both size and seating, so grab a table as soon as you see one, especially during July–August departures when package flights to the UK and central Europe bank around similar times.
One practical tip: order and eat before you join any non-Schengen or UK immigration queues at the far end of Terminal 1, since you can’t backtrack easily once you pass those checks and boarding tends to start only 20–30 minutes before departure.
