Destination Maryland

Gate-side crab keychains and Old Bay tins

Just past security in the main Terminal concourse, Destination Maryland leans hard into state pride: crab-themed souvenirs, Old Bay merch, and Maryland flag gear stacked from floor to ceiling. You’ll see it near the central food court cluster, so you can browse while keeping an eye on boarding times. It’s a quick walk from the B and C gate areas, so you don’t have to commit to a long detour.

Pricing lands in the standard airport-gift range: magnets around $6–8, shot glasses near $10, and T-shirts pushing $25–30 with “Baltimore” or “Maryland” prints. Shelves carry local snacks like Utz chips and Berger-style cookies alongside national-brand candy bars. If you forgot a souvenir for someone specific, it’s an easy single-stop fix between security and gates B2–B15.

Most of the stock is grab-and-go: hoodies in the classic black–yellow–red state flag pattern, crab plush toys, mugs, plus some BWI-branded items. They also mix in travel basics like neck pillows, earbuds, and basic phone cables under $20. Inventory skews heavily Maryland-themed compared with the generic “USA” stores you’ll see elsewhere in the Terminal.

Figure 10–15 minutes to walk in, scan the racks, and pay, even when multiple flights out of concourses B and C board at the same time. One practical tip: if your flight leaves from the far C gates, stop at Destination Maryland while you’re still near the main food court; you won’t find the same concentration of state-branded gifts closer to C14–C23.
