Long Term Parking B

Economy lot

$11 per day gets you into BWI’s Long Term Parking B

Coming up from Anne Arundel County or the south side, Lot B’s entrance off 7161 Aviation Blvd usually lines up better than swinging around for Long Term A. It’s the same $11 daily rate the airport posts for both long-term lots, so the choice is more about access and shuttle timing than price.

The airport labels Long Term Parking B as an official economy lot with a shuttle ride that runs about 10 minutes to the Terminal curb once you’re moving. One reviewer clocked the shuttle at roughly 8 minutes in motion but waited close to 15 minutes for pickup, so build in a buffer if you’re on an early Southwest or late-night international flight.

BWI’s own parking page groups Long Term A and B together at that $11 rate, but frequent flyers call out a soft difference: Lot B shuttles can feel less packed than Lot A’s, depending on routing and time of day. Some locals steer to B when they’re planning to head home toward Annapolis or Route 50, saying the exit pattern just lines up with their drive.

Complaints cluster around late-night waits at the Terminal, with several people mentioning watching multiple Daily Garage and hourly shuttles roll past before a blue Long Term B bus shows. Like Lot A, a few Google reviews mention confusing row signage and wandering around with suitcases trying to relocate a car after a week away.

Regulars usually skip the first open space and park closer to the numbered shuttle shelters to keep the walk short with bags, even if that means parking in row farther from the exit. One practical move: snap a photo of your row marker and the shelter number as soon as you park, then allow at least 30 minutes from locking your car in B to standing at security in the Terminal.
