Rideshare

Most Paris-based Bolt users stick with the app at Beauvais

Bolt rideshare runs from both Beauvais terminals, T1 and T2, and works the same way as in Paris or Lille. You open the Bolt app, set “Aéroport de Beauvais-Tillé” or your exact terminal as pickup, then drop your hotel or address in Paris, Beauvais, or Rouen. Pricing is dynamic, but rough ballpark: into central Paris often lands between €120 and €180 depending on time of day, traffic on the A16, and demand.

Pickup usually happens at the public arrivals forecourt right outside T1 and T2, not in a special rideshare bay. After baggage claim, follow the “Sortie / Exit” signs and walk 50–150 meters to the curb, then message your driver in the Bolt app with your exact door or landmark. The drive into central Paris is about 75–90 minutes in light traffic, and as long as 2 hours if you hit rush hour near Porte de la Chapelle.

Bolt quotes you an estimated fare and time in the app before you confirm, and charges directly to your card or Apple Pay / Google Pay saved in your profile. The app shows the car’s plate, model, and ETA to the minute, which matters at Beauvais where late-night arrivals often dump a full 189-seat Ryanair flight at once. If prices spike, you’ll see the higher multiplier on the confirmation screen.

Late flights are normal on the Beauvais–Ryanair combo, and Bolt drivers track your live location via GPS, not the scheduled arrival time. Still, some drivers at smaller airports cancel if they don’t see you in 5–10 minutes, so use the in-app chat if you’re stuck at passport control. From Beauvais city center to the airport, a Bolt ride often runs €15–€25 for the 6–7 km hop, cheaper than Paris-bound trips but still more than the €1 local Corolis buses.

If you arrive into T1 or T2 during the last wave of flights around 23:00, expect fewer cars on the map and longer wait times of 15–25 minutes. During daytime banks, you might see an ETA under 5 minutes. One practical tip: pre-download the Bolt app and add a card over airport Wi‑Fi or city Wi‑Fi; BVA’s free Wi‑Fi often cuts around the terminal doors, so set everything up before you step outside to the curb.
