Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop

Cafe

Open · Open 7 days a week 4:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

First flight at 5:30 a.m.? Tim Hortons is already pouring.

This Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop opens at 4:00 a.m. every day and closes at 7:30 p.m., so it covers pretty much all BUF departures except the very last ones. It’s a straightforward Canadian-style coffee stop: drip coffee, espresso drinks, teas, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and Timbits. Expect airport pricing, but still in the normal Tim Hortons range for a chain cafe, not luxury-coffee levels.

The menu sticks to Tim Hortons standards: double-double style coffee, iced coffees, breakfast wraps, and baked goods baked on-site during the day. If you need something you can eat at the gate, the sausage breakfast sandwich or bagel with cream cheese holds up best, while donuts and Timbits travel fine in a carry-on. Skip anything too sauce-heavy if you’re heading straight into a tight Economy seat.

Service pace lines up with early-morning rush: around 4:30–6:30 a.m. you may see 5–10 people in line, but it usually moves in under 10 minutes. Later in the afternoon, it’s often down to 2–3 people. They operate seven days a week, so you don’t run into the “closed on Sunday” surprise that some smaller airport cafes have.

Practical tip: if you’re flying in that 6:00–7:00 a.m. bank, grab coffee and food here in one stop at 4:45–5:15 a.m. and avoid the worst of the security and gate-area snack lines.
