T1’s Souvenir Shop sits just past security at Bern Airport
This small shop in T1 is your last chance for Bern and Swiss mementos before boarding. It sits airside after security, so you don’t have to backtrack once you’re through the checkpoint. Signage is clear from the main departure hall, and you’ll hit it on the short walk toward the gates.
Expect classic Swiss gifts: chocolate bars in the CHF 3–8 range, boxed pralines closer to CHF 10–20, and standard keychains and magnets marked with Bern’s bear. The mix skews toward easy-to-pack items, so you can grab something that fits in a personal item without repacking your carry-on at the gate.
The shop keeps typical airport hours, roughly aligned with the first and last departures of the day from T1. Morning openings track the early regional flights, and closing time follows the final evening departures, so you can usually swing by both on outbound and on a tight same-day return.
Cards are widely accepted, including contactless payments in CHF, and prices are clearly tagged in Swiss francs on the shelves. If you’re burning down leftover cash, small items under CHF 10 near the counter make it easy to zero out coins and small notes before you head to the gate.
Plan one extra 5–10 minutes before boarding if you want to browse here; it’s close to the gates, but queues can form when two flights depart within the same 30-minute window.
