Souvenir Shop

Duty free prices without duty free rules

Bremer keychains, magnets, and city mugs all land here in the Souvenir Shop in Terminal 1, just past security. Stock skews heavily to Bremen themes and Germany basics: flags, shot glasses, and “Stadtmusikanten” merch. Expect airport pricing: small magnets around €4–5, T-shirts closer to €20. If you forgot a token gift from town, this is the last realistic option before boarding.

The shop usually trades standard daytime airport hours, roughly aligning with the first and last departures in Terminal 1. Early morning flights around 06:00 normally find it already open; late rotations towards 21:00 may catch it closing or shut. Don’t bank on a late-night stop. Hit it on the walk from security to the gates instead of on the way back from the restroom.

Stock focuses on small, packable items you can throw in a personal item: postcard packs under €3, snack-size chocolates around €2–3, plus a few soft toys. No serious electronics or premium fashion brands here, just tourist items and small gifts. Cards are widely accepted; still, have a €10 note handy in case a terminal glitches.

Practical play: clear security in Terminal 1, walk the short corridor toward the main gate area, and stop at the Souvenir Shop before you sit down. Buy once, stow the bag deep in your carry-on, and you avoid scrambling back from the boarding queue when you remember that one person you forgot.
