Vending Area

Gate area snack stop before your Delta hop

Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK) is tiny, and the Vending Area is basically your only food option once you pass security for Terminal 1 and wait for the Delta flight to Atlanta. Think chips, candy bars, and bottled drinks instead of a full café. Prices run a bit above gas-station level, but still under about $4–$5 for most snacks and soft drinks.

The machines sit near the small gate seating area, a short walk from check-in and security, which at BQK usually takes under 10 minutes door to gate. You’ll find standard sodas, water, and sometimes energy drinks on the drink side, plus packaged pastries and candy on the snack side. Payment is usually card or mobile pay; bill and coin acceptors can be hit-or-miss at smaller regional airports like this.

Since the airport often handles just a few departures a day, don’t expect hot food, bar service, or fresh sandwiches at the Vending Area. If you want anything more than a snack before the roughly 1‑hour flight to ATL, eat in town or pack something through security. Use the vending machines for a backup soda and chips while you wait. Practical tip: grab water here before boarding, because in-flight service on short regional legs can feel rushed and sometimes doesn’t reach every row.
