Air France Lounge

E · 4 Open · 13:00-23:30 Day pass Priority Pass

Terminal E’s Priority Pass option sits by Gate 4

This is the Air France Lounge in Terminal E, just past security, a short walk right toward Gate 4, then up via a dedicated elevator or stairs. It runs 13:00 to 23:30 daily, so morning departures out of BOS-E are out of luck. Think of it as the functional Priority Pass choice in the international terminal, not a destination in itself.

Access works like a standard carrier lounge: it’s airside in Terminal E and accepts Priority Pass day access during the posted 13:00–23:30 window. If you’re already flying from A, B, or C, budget extra time to clear security into E; you can’t just wander over landside and walk in. Most flyers on FlyerTalk use it only when their flight actually leaves from E to avoid extra security lines.

Space and seating are typical legacy-airline lounge style, closer to a mid-tier US club than a Polaris or premium international lounge. Reviews consistently call it “not exactly a great lounge,” but “a step above domestic airline lounges,” which fits with the basic seating and standard self-serve setup. Don’t expect expansive apron views or private nap areas; this is more about a seat, Wi‑Fi, and power for an hour or two before a flight.

Food and drink are serviceable but not destination dining, similar to what you’d see in many European carrier lounges. Expect light bites rather than a full hot-meal spread during most of the 13:00–23:30 operating window. If you care about a real meal, grab something in Terminal E’s main concourse before heading up, then treat the lounge as a quieter place to sit and charge devices.

What regulars do: Priority Pass holders connecting in Terminal E time their arrival for just after 13:00 so they’re not waiting in the hall for the doors to open. Flyers with long afternoon layovers in E often camp here instead of circling the gate area, using it mainly as a staging area for power, Wi‑Fi, and a drink before an evening transatlantic departure.

Watch out for: the 1pm opening. If your international flight from Gate 4 or nearby pushes back at, say, 13:30 or 14:00, you may only get 10–20 minutes inside after factoring in boarding times. Don’t burn time trekking from Terminals A, B, or C into E and back just for this lounge; use it when your boarding pass already says “Terminal E.”

One tip: if you land in E before midday and have a long layover, grab a proper lunch in the terminal, then move to the Air France Lounge right at 13:00 when it opens to lock in a seat and power outlet before the evening wave of transatlantic departures crowds it out.
