Most locals using Manmandir already know the exact town stop

Manmandir Travels runs intercity coaches that some Mumbai fliers quietly use to head straight from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport into smaller Maharashtra cities, but it is not an official airport coach and doesn’t serve Terminals 1 or 2 directly. Instead, their buses start from city pick-up points like Dadar, Borivali, or Andheri, so you’re looking at a two-step trip: airport to city pick-up, then Manmandir onwards.

You won’t find Manmandir counters inside Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and there’s no dedicated desk near the regular pre-paid taxi stands. Most people book seats online on Indian bus platforms or via local agents, then connect from BOM by taxi, Uber, or auto to the Manmandir boarding point listed on the ticket. Factor at least 45–60 minutes from T2 to a common hub like Andheri East during regular daytime traffic.

Because journey time, fares, and frequency vary by route and date, you have to check those details for your specific sector; there’s no standard “airport bus” timetable or flat rate for BOM passengers. Some routes only run once daily while others have multiple departures, and last-minute seat availability can be tight before festivals like Diwali or Ganesh Chaturthi. Treat it more like booking a long-distance train than grabbing a city bus.

Step-by-step from Terminal 2: 1) Land at BOM T2 and clear immigration and customs, which can take 30–60 minutes in the evening bank around 21:00–23:00. 2) Use airport Wi‑Fi to confirm your Manmandir PNR and exact boarding landmark, including the side of the road and any specific shop names. 3) Book an Uber, Ola, or pre-paid taxi from the official rank to the Manmandir pick-up point listed on your ticket. 4) Aim to reach the boarding point at least 20–30 minutes before the printed departure time in case the coach stops only briefly. 5) Keep a screenshot of your ticket and the bus operator’s phone number in case the bus parks a block away from the marked stop.

There are no consistent reports of major issues tied specifically to Manmandir on airport runs, but general Mumbai‑area complaints apply: evening traffic on the Western Express Highway can double your taxi time from 30 minutes to over an hour, and some roadside pick-up spots have limited shade in May–June heat. If your flight lands after 23:00, double-check that your chosen Manmandir departure is still operating and that late-night taxis to the boarding point are available.

One practical tip: build a 2–3 hour buffer between your scheduled landing at BOM and your Manmandir departure, especially if you’re landing in T2 on an international flight and then heading to an early evening coach from Dadar or Borivali.
