Gate-side eyewear upgrade in Terminal 2

Just past security in Terminal 2, Ray-Ban sits in the main international departures retail strip, so you pass it on the walk to many 20–40 series gates. It’s a clean, compact shop focused almost entirely on sunglasses and optical frames, not a general fashion store with a few racks on the side.

Frames sit mostly in the ₹9,000–₹18,000 range, with some entry models dipping just under ₹8,000 and premium styles going higher. You’ll see all the usual suspects: Aviator, Wayfarer, Clubmaster, plus newer shield styles. Stock changes, but they typically carry multiple lens sizes in the classic shapes, which helps if 55 mm feels too small or 62 mm looks huge.

The store accepts major international cards and UPI, and prices are in rupees with GST included. Staff can usually swap nose pads and tighten screws in under 10 minutes, handy if your existing Ray-Bans took a hit somewhere between Delhi and Mumbai. Don’t expect full prescription fitting; this is mainly frame purchase and quick adjustments.

Open through most overnight departure banks, roughly until the last long-haul flights around 02:00–03:00, it works well for killing 20 minutes before boarding. Try on frames and then step near the windows by nearby gates to check lenses in real daylight. If your flight leaves from a remote bus gate, budget an extra 10 minutes to get back from the shop to your boarding point.
