Hamleys

2

Opposite the big kids’ zone in Terminal 2, Hamleys is the stop if you promised toys on this trip. This branch sits airside in BOM T2 and focuses on younger kids, with branded plush toys, cars, dolls and basic games rather than massive sets. Stock feels similar to a city-mall Hamleys, just compressed for airport space and luggage reality.

Prices run at typical Mumbai mall levels, not duty-free steals, so assume full MRP on most items. You’ll see global brands mixed with Hamleys’ own label, plus India-themed soft toys that actually pack flat. It’s all regular retail, so don’t expect airport-only exclusives or big promo walls, just standard offers when running.

The shop serves mainly international departures out of T2, so it’s practical if you’re clearing immigration with kids and need a 5–10 minute morale boost before a long-haul. Space inside is tight; strollers fit, but two carry-ons plus kids gets awkward fast. Staff usually steer you quickly to age-appropriate options if you ask by age or budget.

One tip: if you’re eyeing something bulky over ₹2,000, compare it mentally with suitcase space first. This is a good place for last-minute soft toys, small die-cast cars or travel-sized games; leave big boxes and ride-ons for city stores earlier in the trip.
