Coach

2

Opposite the big international carriers in T2, Coach sits on the main shopping level as a mid-to-high-end leather stop. This is Terminal 2 at Mumbai (BOM), post-security, in the duty-free and luxury stretch you hit after immigration. Think handbags, wallets, and small leather goods, with prices tracking close to standard Coach global tags, charged in INR. You’re paying premium-mall money, not street-market money.

Hours generally match T2’s long-haul bank, with most reports putting the store open for late-night departures between 22:00 and 03:00, plus peak evening waves. Inventory focuses on current-season bags and SLGs; don’t expect deep outlet-style markdowns or last-year ranges. If you know specific model names or sizes, have them ready so staff can pull quickly rather than you browsing blind on a tight boarding window.

This Coach leans hard on handbags and crossbodies; men’s briefcases and work bags show up, but in smaller numbers on a single wall. Small gifts under ₹15,000 tend to be cardholders, wristlets, and compact wallets. Larger totes and backpacks easily cross the ₹30,000–₹40,000 mark. Taxes are baked into the ticket price, so what you see on the tag is what you pay at the till.

Big point: warranty and authenticity are fully brand-backed here, unlike some multi-brand duty-free counters elsewhere in T2. If you already shopped Coach in Palladium or another Mumbai mall, you’ll see similar collections, just focused into a tighter footprint. Stock is better before the 23:00–01:00 Europe/US departure rush; by then, popular colors may be gone.

Practical tip: hit Coach right after clearing security and immigration in Terminal 2, then walk to your gate; don’t wait until your first boarding call because checkout plus packing can easily eat 15–20 minutes.
