$23/day gets you covered parking right by the Main terminal
Long-Term Garage at Boise runs $23 per day and sits next to the Main terminal, so you walk straight into the building instead of crossing big surface lots. It undercuts Short-Term Garage on price while keeping you in the same covered, multi-level setup, which matters when Boise winter hits or you’re rolling bags with kids. If you’re gone a few days and don’t want open-air Economy, this is the middle ground.
Boise’s posted rate sheet lists this as Long-Term Garage at $23/day and also shows a separate Long-Term East Garage at $20/day, while the live parking map calls things East Garage and Main Garage. That naming can be confusing at first glance, but the key is that any garage signed for long-term still puts you within a short walk of the Main terminal ticketing counters. If saving the last $3/day matters more than being as close as possible, check signs for East vs Main before you pull a ticket.
The airport says there are eight EV charging spaces in the garage network: four on level 2 and four on level 3 in the northeast corner of the West Garage, with no extra fee beyond your regular parking charge. Regulars aiming for those chargers will head up to level 2 or 3 instead of taking the first space they see. If you drive an EV, budget a couple extra minutes to loop to the northeast side so you don’t miss those stalls.
There’s no posted height issue beyond normal garage limits, but taller vehicles may still be happier in Economy Surface at a lower daily rate. The airport’s own info shows all garages are open 24/7, so late-night arrivals into BOI still reach their car without dealing with shuttle schedules. One tip: screenshot the rate sheet or the live availability panel before you enter, so you know which garage you actually picked and what you’ll pay when you roll out.
