Gate-side burger fix in Main Terminal food court
The Pharmacy Burger Parlor sits in the Main Terminal food court at BNA, just past the central security checkpoint, and fills the “I just want a real burger” gap better than most national chains here. It’s counter-service, so you order at the register and wait for your name; at peak times around 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. the queue can run 10–15 minutes.
Menu focus is burgers and sausages, with patties cooked on a flat-top and served on soft buns instead of brioche. Expect burger prices in the $12–$16 range before tax, with add-ons like cheese and bacon pushing things closer to $18 after you throw in fries. Portion sizes skew large, so a single burger plus one fries is usually enough for two lighter appetites.
Fries come in regular and sweet potato versions, so if you care more about salt than calories, skip the sweet potato and stick with standard. The Pharmacy also runs basic fountain sodas and bottled water in the $3–$5 band, and you can grab a quick drink here instead of standing in a separate beverage line elsewhere in the food court.
Service is airport-quick rather than restaurant-slow, with most orders out in 8–12 minutes once you’ve paid, but that can stretch closer to 20 minutes during evening bank times around 5–7 p.m. Seating is shared with the rest of the Main Terminal food court, so you may end up carrying your tray 30–40 feet to find an open table near another vendor.
One tip: if your flight departs in under 40 minutes, ask when you order how long the current ticket times are and be ready to take the burger to-go toward your gate instead of waiting for the “perfect” seat in the food court.
