Gate-side hot chicken and beer at BNA’s Main Terminal
Party Fowl sits past security in BNA’s Main Terminal, right in the central food court cluster near several C and D gates, so you can eat and still make a short walk to boarding. It’s a full bar setup plus tables, not just a to-go counter, so you can actually sit down with your bags and keep an eye on the departure boards overhead.
Menu focus is Nashville hot chicken: tenders, sandwiches, and salads built around the same fried chicken. Heat levels run from mild to “Poultrygeist,” and the classic hot chicken sandwich usually lands in the low-to-mid teens in price, depending on sides. Portions run big for an airport stop, so a sandwich and fries can easily feed one hungry person or two lighter eaters.
The bar pours local Tennessee beers on tap alongside national standards, with pints typically in the $8–$11 range and cocktails a few dollars more. If you have 45–60 minutes before boarding, you can sit, order a beer and a hot chicken sandwich, and still get to most Main Terminal gates without rushing. Staff are used to tight layovers and will usually tell you if a made-to-order item might cut it close to your boarding time.
Party Fowl opens for the morning bank of departures, usually around 6:00 a.m., and stays open into the evening departure push, commonly until around 9:00–10:00 p.m., though hours can shift with the BNA schedule. Breakfast options lean on chicken-and-biscuit builds and basic sides, with pricing similar to the lunch sandwiches. If you’re on a 6:30 a.m. Southwest or Delta Main Terminal departure, this is one of the few spots where you can get a hot breakfast with protein.
Tip: On tight connections under 40 minutes, order tenders and fries to go at Party Fowl, then eat at your gate while you watch the boarding groups line up.
