Gate-side reading fix in T2

Just past security in Terminal T2, Relay fills the newsstand gap before you head to the gates. It sits in the main departures retail zone, so you hit it on the way to most domestic and international flights. Think magazines, paperbacks, basic travel gear and last-minute snacks, all in one quick stop before boarding.

Hours generally track flight banks in T2, opening from early morning through late-night departures, so you can grab a newspaper at 05:00 or a snack at 23:00. Prices sit above city shops, as usual for airports, but not outrageous for BLR standards. Expect to pay extra for imported magazines or branded stationery compared with downtown Bengaluru bookstores.

Relay in T2 leans heavily on printed media: Indian dailies, English-language magazines, plus a rotating mix of bestsellers. You’ll also see travel basics like neck pillows, earphones, power banks and simple stationery under ₹1,000. Snacks skew packaged: chips, biscuits, chocolate bars, and bottled drinks you can carry to the gate without issues at security since you’re already airside.

Payment is straightforward: cards, UPI, and cash in INR all work at this T2 location. Lines build before banked departures around gates in the mid-20s and 30s, when everyone remembers they forgot gum and reading material at the same time. Stock on international titles can thin out by late evening, especially after heavy long-haul banks.

Tip: if your gate is at the far end of T2, stop at Relay right after security; there’s more choice here than at the smaller kiosks closer to some remote gates.
