Relay

T1

Near the domestic gates in T1, Relay is your last-minute grab spot

Relay in Terminal T1 sits on the domestic side, after security, and works as a quick in-and-out stop before boarding. Expect the usual airport pricing bump: chips and biscuits around ₹80–₹150, bottled water roughly ₹40–₹60, and soft drinks hovering near ₹70–₹100. It’s a small-format shop, so think essentials, not long browsing.

Hours typically run from early-morning bank (around 5:00) through the late-night departures, matching most T1 flight waves. You’ll find basic snacks, packaged sweets, and tea/coffee cans plus a few reading options like newspapers and mass-market paperbacks. For a quick office gift, grab branded chocolates or standard souvenir items in the ₹200–₹600 range.

Relay also stocks travel basics: power adapters, basic cables, and entry-level earphones, usually ₹400–₹1,000. Toiletries come in small sizes that pass security rules, including toothpaste, deodorant, and wet wipes. If you forgot a pen for immigration forms on an international connection out of T1, you can usually find cheap stationery near the counter.

Payment is straightforward: Indian cards and UPI are widely accepted, and they’ll usually take major international cards for higher-ticket items like headphones. Queues spike right after security during the 6:00–9:00 morning bank and again around 20:00–23:00, matching T1’s heavier departure waves.

Tip: If you want more food choice, eat in the main T1 food court first and use Relay only for water and snacks close to your actual gate.
