Hamleys

T2

T2’s Hamleys sits in the main international retail zone

Right in Kempegowda’s Terminal T2, Hamleys is the stop for last‑minute toys before a long flight. It sits airside, so you only get here after security. Think classic red branding, shelves stacked high, and a lot of color in a relatively compact footprint. If you have 10–15 minutes between boarding calls, you can scan the whole shop without stress.

Pricing skews above Indian street retail, in line with big-city malls in Bengaluru rather than local toy shops on MG Road. You’ll see branded soft toys, LEGO sets, basic puzzles, travel‑friendly games, and battery toys, with most small items in the ₹500–₹1,500 range and larger sets running much higher. Don’t expect duty‑free style discounts here; this is regular Hamleys pricing inside T2.

Stock focuses on big global names you’d recognize from other Hamleys locations: Marvel, Barbie, Hot Wheels, and the usual airport‑safe soft toys. That mix makes it easy to grab a neutral gift for a niece or nephew without knowing exact preferences. One downside for very long‑haul parents: not a lot under ₹300, and fewer ultra-compact “fit in a jacket pocket” toys than you might want at the gate.

Hamleys in T2 generally keeps the same hours as most international departures, opening early for the morning wave and staying open until the last late‑night flights, usually past 01:00. Best move: if you’re flying out of T2 with kids, walk them through Hamleys first, set a clear budget in rupees, and only then head to your gate.
