Valet parking sits directly opposite T1 departures

The Premium Pick-up Zone is right across from Kempegowda’s T1 departure gates, so you roll out of the car and into the terminal in under a minute. This is valet only: staff take your keys at the curb, park the car in the dedicated premium area, and bring it back when your ride lands. If you’re dropping elderly family or handling heavy luggage at T1, this is the closest car-to-check-in option on the airport road.

This zone sits on the departures side of Terminal 1, clearly signed as “Premium Pick-up Zone (Opposite T1 Departure)” on the approach road. It works best for IndiGo, AirAsia India, Akasa and other T1 carriers, since you avoid the longer walk from the regular car park behind the terminal. You stay landside here: no tickets, no shuttles, no multi-level garages to deal with, just a short roll of your suitcase across the forecourt to the entrance doors.

You pay extra vs the standard BLR car parks, but you trade that for saved time on both drop-off and pick-up right at T1. Pricing is tiered by short stays, so it makes more sense for quick airport runs, not multi-day parking marathons. Because it’s a dedicated premium lane, traffic usually moves faster than the general departure curb, especially in the evening rush around the 20:00–23:00 bank of flights.

Tip: If your return flight uses T2 and your family departs from T1, use this Premium Pick-up Zone only for the T1 leg, then plan regular parking or app cabs from T2 for your own trip home.
