₹150 sets you up at BLR’s Premium Pick-up Zone
This is Kempegowda’s paid priority pick-up area, separate from the regular curb for T1 and T2. You pay a higher entry fee (around ₹150–₹300 depending on vehicle and time band) for closer access to the terminal exits and a calmer traffic flow. It sits just ahead of the standard pick-up lanes, so your driver spends less time circling the public loop.
The Premium Pick-up Zone runs 24/7, matching the overnight bank of international flights at BLR. Cars enter through a dedicated lane at the terminal access road, different from the general drop-off and pick-up stream. There’s staff on the ground round the clock to manage flow and keep private cabs, app cabs, and personal cars moving so the area doesn’t clog like the free section sometimes does during the 1:00–4:00 a.m. rush.
Pricing here is time-based, usually in 10–20 minute blocks, with sharp penalties if a car lingers. Drivers get a printed token or digital timestamp at entry, and exit gates automatically calculate the fee, so tell your ride to wait off-airport and roll in only when you’re at the curb. This keeps your total closer to the base ₹150–₹300 instead of creeping into higher slabs after 20–30 minutes.
Use the Premium Pick-up Zone if you’re landing into T2 on an international flight after midnight or flying with older parents who can’t walk far. Message your driver the exact terminal—T1 for most domestic carriers, T2 for select domestic and most international—and confirm they choose the “Premium Pick-up” lane at the access split. One simple rule: only call the car in after you’ve grabbed bags and stepped outside the arrivals door.
