Halibut Henry’s

★ 3.8

Snacks, coffee, and last-minute gifts all land at Halibut Henry’s

At Bellingham’s Main terminal, Halibut Henry’s fills the gap when you just need something quick: coffee, packaged snacks, bottled drinks, or a souvenir before boarding. It’s airside past security in the small concourse, so you don’t have to leave the gate area to grab food or a drink. Think of it as BLI’s default option when other stands are closed or lines are too long.

The shop runs during core flight banks tied to Allegiant and Alaska departures, so you’ll usually find it open in the early morning and again around midday. Hours flex with the schedule, which is typical for an airport B the size of Bellingham, so don’t count on late‑night service after the last flight around 10:00 pm. If you have a 6:00 am departure, this is likely your only on-site source for hot coffee once you’re past the TSA checkpoint.

Food is mostly grab-and-go: chips, candy, packaged pastries, and refrigerated drinks priced at standard airport levels, roughly USD $3–$6 for snacks and more for larger items. Expect drip coffee and basic espresso drinks rather than anything third‑wave; this is about speed and caffeine, not latte art. If you want something more substantial, eat in town before you get to 4255 Mitchell Way or bring a sandwich through security.

The non-food side matters here: Halibut Henry’s also sells travel basics like neck pillows, phone chargers, and small Bellingham or Pacific Northwest-branded gifts. That can save you if you forgot a charging cable or need a quick present before a short flight to Seattle or Las Vegas. Stock changes, but you can usually find at least one type of USB cable and a couple of logo items under $20.

Practical tip: Prices and lines both spike right before a bank of departures, so hit Halibut Henry’s 20–30 minutes before boarding time printed on your Main terminal gate pass.
