FamilyMart

Gate-side prices at FamilyMart beat most Main Terminal kiosks

FamilyMart sits airside in Suvarnabhumi’s Main Terminal, and it feels closer to a Bangkok street corner shop than an airport concession stand on pricing. You’ll see instant noodles around 20–30 THB, bottled water for roughly 10–20 THB, and basic snacks at normal city rates instead of the usual airport markup. It’s a quick stop if you just want something familiar and cheap before a long-haul out of BKK.

Think 24/7 Japanese-style convenience store, not a café. FamilyMart in the Main Terminal stocks onigiri, sandwiches, crisps, candy, and canned coffee, along with toiletries like toothbrushes and travel-size shampoo. Expect fridges full of soft drinks and milk tea, plus a few microwave meals that staff can heat for you in under 2–3 minutes. It’s all grab-and-go, no seating, and you’ll be in and out in under 5–10 minutes unless the single checkout line backs up.

Payment is easy: they usually accept Thai baht cash, major credit cards, and most contactless methods, so you don’t need to burn your last notes on a 90 THB airport latte elsewhere. Prices stay close to what you’d pay at a city FamilyMart branch, which is rare inside a major international hub like BKK Main. Stock can run low on sandwiches and rice balls late at night, so earlier in the evening you’ll see the best food choices.

Tip: hit FamilyMart in the Main Terminal before heading to your far-flung gates; grab water and snacks here so you’re not stuck paying higher prices at small stand-alone kiosks near the ends of the concourses.
