Accessible Parking

Marked accessible spaces sit directly next to BJX Terminal 1

Accessible Parking at Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) sits right by Terminal 1, so you’re a short walk from the departures doors instead of crossing the full public lot. Spaces are in the main terminal parking area, not in a separate structure or off-site lot, which keeps things simple if you’re dropping off a passenger with mobility needs.

The accessible bays are mixed into the closest rows of the main lot next to T1, so you pull into the same entrance as regular parking and follow the blue disability symbols on the ground and signs. That “next to terminal” location usually means less time exposed to sun and rain because you’re crossing the roadway once and heading straight into the building.

Parking here uses the same ticket and pay system as the rest of the BJX lot, since Accessible Parking is part of the on-airport facility next to Terminal 1. There’s no separate gate or cashier; you take a ticket at the main entrance, park in a marked space, and pay the standard airport rates at the pay machines or exit booths before driving out.

Because traveller reports on BJX Accessible Parking are thin and don’t call out extra perks, plan on basics only: marked spaces beside T1 and the standard lot payment system. If you rely on a wheelchair or ramp, build in an extra 10–15 minutes the first time you use this lot so you can find a suitable space near Terminal 1 without feeling rushed at drop-off or pickup.
