T1’s Souvenir Shop 1 is your last Corsica stop
Just past security in Terminal T1, Souvenir Shop 1 is one of the only places at Bastia-Poretta (BIA) where you can grab a Corsica-themed memento before boarding. The shop sits airside, so you don’t need extra time to exit and re-clear. Signage in T1 is thin, and at least one 2023 Flightradar24 review complained they “couldn’t find any shops behind security,” which tells you this place is small and easy to miss.
Expect the standard airport mix: magnets and keyrings with “Bastia” or the Moor’s head flag, basic postcards, and a few racks of t‑shirts and caps. Prices sit firmly in airport territory, with small items like magnets typically around €4–€6 and simple t‑shirts often closer to €20–€25. Stock tends to skew generic Corsica rather than specific Bastia neighborhoods or landmarks, so if you want something more local, you’re better off buying in town before heading to T1.
The shop normally keeps hours aligned with flight banks in T1, opening roughly 2 hours before the first departures and closing after the last evening flights, so very late or very early movements may find the shutters down. No strong reports on staff interaction or returns, and no clear “signature” product stands out in reviews. Given BIA’s limited post-security retail, Souvenir Shop 1 functions as a last-minute sweep rather than a planned shopping stop.
Tip: after security in T1, walk slowly along the main departures corridor and look for souvenir racks on the concourse side; if you walk straight to your gate without scanning storefronts, you may miss Souvenir Shop 1 entirely.
