50–100 metres from T1, this is the airport’s main car park
The Short and Long Stay Car Park sits directly in front of Bastia-Poretta’s T1 terminal, so you’re walking roughly 2–3 minutes from most spaces to check-in. It’s the official airport option, surface level, and easy to spot as soon as you turn into the terminal access road. Signage reads “Parking officiel – Court et Long Séjour” and it’s the only large on-site car park at BIA.
This lot covers both short trips and week-long holidays, so you use the same entrance barrier whether you’re parking for 30 minutes or 10 days. Stays of under a day work for quick drop-offs, meetings, or a same-day return flight, while multi-day parking handles the usual 7–14 day Corsica trips. Because there’s no separate long-stay overflow lot, you don’t need to guess which car park to pick when you arrive.
Payment happens at automatic machines near the terminal doors, with cards and coins accepted; you pay before you exit through the barrier. Keep the ticket you receive at the entry gate, as you’ll need that barcode to calculate the final amount. Prices are posted in euros at the machine and at the car park entrance, and tariffs step up by time bands rather than a flat 24-hour rate.
Access runs 24/7, even when flight activity drops overnight, so late arrivals on the last LCC of the day or early departures around 06:00 still work with this car park. Lighting covers the main driving lanes and pedestrian paths, and marked walkways guide you back toward the terminal’s main entrance doors.
Tip: In summer high season (July–August), aim to arrive 20–30 minutes earlier than usual, as this single Short and Long Stay Car Park can fill the rows closest to T1 quickly.
