Cedar Jet Center-MEAG

General Aviation only: Cedar Jet Center-MEAG isn’t in T1

Cedar Jet Center-MEAG sits in Beirut’s General Aviation Terminal, not in Terminal 1 where MEA, Qatar Airways, and most commercial flights operate. If your boarding pass shows T1 and a standard gate number, this facility has nothing to do with your journey.

Access runs through the dedicated General Aviation building used for private jets and charter operations, separate from BEY’s main departures hall and standard security queues. You don’t walk here from T1; you arrive directly by car to the GA entrance on the airport perimeter access road.

This is more FBO than lounge, with services built around individual aircraft handling instead of Priority Pass or airline status. You don’t flash a credit card or oneworld card for entry; handling is usually bundled into a private flight package or billed to an operator account.

Typical use case: small groups on corporate charters, VIP movements, or privately owned aircraft flying in and out of Beirut on flexible schedules. If you bought a regular MEA economy ticket for a 09:30 departure from T1, you will not be checked in here and you will not board from this building.

Inside, expect seating, basic refreshments, and direct transfer to your aircraft on the apron, similar to other regional FBOs at airports like LCA or AMM. Don’t expect big buffet spreads, long bar menus, or shower lines; the whole point is short dwell time before a specific private flight slot.

Because public reviews are almost nonexistent and walk-up access isn’t a thing, there’s no meaningful “what to order” or “best time to visit” playbook here. Pricing for handling and lounge use varies by operator and aircraft type, and is usually quoted as part of a route or rotation rather than a per-visit day rate.

Bottom line tip: if your flight number starts with ME, QR, TK, or similar and departs from Terminal 1, skip researching Cedar Jet Center-MEAG and focus on BEY’s standard lounges inside T1 instead.
