Relay

Gate-side in T1, Relay is the main grab-and-go stop

Just past security in T1 at Brest Bretagne, Relay sits in the compact departures area and functions as the airport’s default newsstand and snack run before boarding. It’s airside, so you won’t backtrack through security, and it usually opens from early morning through the last departures bank, roughly 06:00 to around 21:00 depending on the day’s flights.

Relay carries French and international magazines, paperbacks, and basic stationery alongside drinks, crisps, and chocolate bars. Expect airport pricing: a 500 ml bottle of water runs around €2–€3 and standard candy bars sit around €1.50–€2. You’ll also see pre-packed sandwiches and pastries in the refrigerated case, decent enough if you’re about to board a short Hop! or Transavia hop with no real meal service.

The shop takes cards and contactless payments, and you can usually pay quickly even when a couple of flights to Paris CDG and ORY are boarding at the same time. Tobacco, SIM cards, and small travel accessories (chargers, headphones, travel pillows) round out the stock, so you can solve last‑minute gaps without leaving T1’s single departures hall.

Without many alternatives in this airport of roughly 1.1 million annual passengers, Relay ends up as the default stop for snacks and reading material. If you want something specific before your flight, don’t wait: browse and buy right after security, before the queue spikes when the next 2–3 gates start boarding together.
