Relay

single-terminal airport

Gate-area quick grab at BDL: Relay keeps it simple

Relay sits past security in Bradley’s single terminal, serving both A and B gates with one compact newsstand setup. You’ll see it on the concourse between the central checkpoint and the A gates, so you walk by it on most departures. Think magazines, drinks, snacks, and last‑minute add‑ons rather than full grocery runs.

Hours generally track the flight banks, opening early for 5–6 a.m. departures and staying open into the late evening push around 9–10 p.m. Exact times float with the schedule, but if TSA is open and flights are going out, Relay is usually lit. It’s the reliable stop when coffee lines are slammed and you only have five minutes.

Pricing runs typical airport markup: bottled water around $3–4, packaged snacks in the $3–7 range, and basic travel chargers well north of what you’d pay at Target. You trade a few extra dollars for not losing your boarding spot in a sit‑down restaurant or walking all the way back toward ticketing.

Stock is standard Relay: national newspapers, a rack of magazines, candy, chips, protein bars, gum, and small electronics like USB cables and power banks. If you forgot a neck pillow or basic toiletries for an overnight, you can usually patch the problem here rather than leaving BDL to find a CVS.

Tip: If your gate is in A, stop at Relay on the way; there’s less to choose from once you push all the way down toward the end of the concourse.
