Gate-side basic grab-and-go at BDL’s single terminal

Hudson runs several outlets in Bradley’s single terminal, mainly along concourses A and B, so you’ll pass at least one on the way to most gates. This is the standard airport news & convenience setup: snacks, drinks, magazines, and last-minute travel items before you board.

Expect national-brand drinks in the $3–$5 range, chips and candy around $2–$6, and a small rack of travel-sized toiletries that can save you if TSA took your 4 oz shampoo. They usually stock headphones, phone chargers, and basic USB cables, which easily hit $15–$30, so treat those as emergency buys, not everyday shopping.

Most Hudson locations in the BDL terminal open early for the 5–6 a.m. departures and stay open into the late evening bank, roughly 9–10 p.m., but exact times shift by day and concourse. If you’re on the first flight of the morning from A or B, plan on grabbing water and a snack here rather than hoping a smaller kiosk is open.

Print options are decent for a regional airport: national newspapers, a few Connecticut local titles, and a rotating set of paperbacks near the front. You’ll also find basic UConn and New England sports gear on some racks, which is handy if you need a $20–$40 souvenir in under five minutes.

Quick tip: buy water or a larger drink here before you head to a quiet gate at the far end of A or B; options thin out the closer you get to the last few jet bridges.
