Gift Shop

single-terminal airport

Next to the main security checkpoint, this Gift Shop is your last-minute stop

This Gift Shop sits landside near the central security checkpoint for Terminals A and B, so you can duck in before heading through the single screening area. It opens early with the first BDL departures and usually stays open through the last evening bank, covering most flights from 5 a.m. into the late evening. Expect standard airport pricing: snacks and drinks around $3–$6, and basic souvenirs starting near $8.

Inside, you get the usual travel standbys: neck pillows and eye masks, a small rack of BDL and Connecticut shirts and hoodies, plus magnets and keychains tagged with local Hartford and New England themes. There’s a basic pharmacy-style wall with pain relievers, motion-sickness tablets, travel-sized toothpaste, and phone chargers, often priced a few dollars higher than downtown but cheaper than buying on the plane.

For food, the shelves lean hard on grab-and-go: chips, candy bars, nuts, and bottled drinks in the $2–$5 range. This is better as a “top up” than a full meal spot; if you want a real breakfast or sandwich, head past security to the main concourse in Terminal A where the chains live. Figure five minutes to pop in here and still make it to security without stress.

Tip: If you forgot a charger or headache meds, fix it here before security; airside options at BDL thin out fast near the end of the night.
