By Gate A7, Pizza Vino is your sit-down pizza option

Pizza Vino sits inside Terminal A near gate A7, past security, so it works for most BDL departures on American, Delta, Southwest, and JetBlue. It runs during normal flight banks, roughly from early-morning departures into the evening, though late-night options taper off as the last banks clear. This is a full-service bar-and-restaurant setup, not just a grab-and-go window, so budget a little extra time before boarding.

Expect personal pizzas and standard bar fare in the $12–$18 range, with salads and appetizers hovering around $8–$12. Draft beer, house wine, and basic mixed drinks usually land in the $7–$12 bracket. Menu style leans very airport-Italian: cheese, pepperoni, veggie pies, plus a few pastas and sandwiches. Portions come out on the larger side for a regional airport, so splitting a pie can make sense on shorter layovers.

The bar along the front edge seats roughly a dozen people and tends to fill up during the 5–7 p.m. departure push. Table service can slow when two or three flights out of A6–A10 board at once, so give yourself 45 minutes if you want a sit-down meal and a drink. For faster turnaround, order a pizza and skip appetizers; main dishes usually hit the table within 15–20 minutes when the kitchen is not slammed.

There’s no known “secret” order here, so stick with simple pies and avoid anything overly loaded right before boarding. Pepperoni or a basic Margherita-style pizza holds up best to being boxed if your gate calls early. Ask for your check as soon as the food arrives; with groups from a single flight, card processing can bunch up near boarding time.

Tip: seated at Pizza Vino, you can still hear boarding calls for nearby gates A5–A9, but check the BDL app or display screens every 10 minutes, since last-minute gate shifts inside Terminal A are common.
