Gate-adjacent bar food near A gates

CT River Landing sits airside in Terminal A, just past the main TSA checkpoint and a short walk from most A-gates. It runs typical daytime flight hours, usually opening by the first morning bank and staying open through the last evening departures. This is one of the main sit-down spots after security at Bradley, so if you want a real table before an 8:00 p.m. departure, budget 30–40 minutes.

Menu is standard American bar fare: burgers, chicken tenders, salads, flatbreads, and a full bar with local beer options from Connecticut breweries. Expect mains in the $14–$22 range and beers around $8–$10. Portions run on the larger side compared with the nearby grab-and-go coolers by gate A6, so it works better as a full meal than a quick snack.

Service pace tracks with the banked departure waves. During the 5:00–7:00 a.m. rush and the late-afternoon 3:00–6:00 p.m. window, orders can stretch to 20–25 minutes. Midday, food often lands in 10–15 minutes. If your boarding time is under 30 minutes away on your BDL app or boarding pass, stick to a salad, fries, or just a drink at the bar rather than a full burger.

The bar counter has power outlets under several stools, which is rarer in this part of Terminal A, and sightlines to multiple TVs tuned to ESPN and cable news. If you need to keep an eye on a 6:30 p.m. boarding at gate A4, sit on the dining-room side closest to the concourse; staff are used to people asking for checks the second the boarding group numbers flip on the monitors.

Tip: if your flight departs from a B gate with boarding starting in under 45 minutes, skip sitting down here and grab something portable near B1 instead; the walk from A to B can eat 10–15 minutes in peak times.
