Only one bar at BDA, but they call it “Sports Bar.”

Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International is tiny, and this Sports Bar is essentially the main airport bar with a couple of TVs tuned to whatever game the staff can pull in. You’ll find it airside after security in the departures area, a short walk from the general seating near the gates, so it works for any outbound flight from BDA.

Food is basic bar fare at typical airport prices; expect burgers, fries, and sandwiches to land in the USD $12–$18 range once you convert from Bermuda dollars (pegged 1:1 to USD). Drinks lean on standard spirits and macro beers by the bottle or can, usually in the $7–$10 range depending on pour size. Don’t expect a printed craft beer list or elaborate cocktails with house syrups.

TVs are the “sports” element here, not memorabilia or stadium-style energy. With only a couple of screens in a compact space, big events like Premier League matches or NFL Sundays can turn into a quiet cluster of fans rather than a full sports bar vibe. If a key match is on, ask the bartender which channel they can actually get; international feeds sometimes cut out, and staff work within whatever the airport cable package supplies.

Seating runs to high-top tables and bar stools, and capacity feels closer to a small hotel bar than anything you’d see at a large hub like JFK or ATL. That means a full 737 departure can swamp the place 45–60 minutes before boarding. On cruise-change Saturdays, plan to stand with your drink or drift back to the general gate seating once you’ve ordered.

Hours generally track the flight schedule, with the bar opening for the first morning departures and winding down after the last evening bank; if you land on one of the final arrivals around 9–10 p.m., don’t count on it staying open. Tip: if you want a drink for the plane, ask directly about plastic cups and timing so you’re not stuck finishing a beer during a sudden boarding call.
