Think single hub, not multiple concepts. Prices land in the midrange ($$ by airport standards), so you’re paying more than town, but not JFK-Gourmet-crazy.

Everything is after security in the departures lounge, and reviews call out that most seating near the bar/restaurant area fills once two or three flights board within the same 60–90 minute window. Food runs to basics: burgers, sandwiches, fried snacks, maybe a daily hot special. Expect to pay roughly USD 12–18 for something resembling a meal and around USD 7–10 for a beer or simple mixed drink.

Regulars on Reddit and TripAdvisor say they often eat in Hamilton or St. George’s first, then arrive at BDA around 90 minutes before a US departure or 2 hours for London, just grabbing a drink or chips at the bar. Others head for quieter rows of seats farther from the bar cluster and only walk over once boarding is about 30 minutes out, then return to their gate with food in hand.

Watch out for peak bank times when several US flights leave within the same 60-minute block; complaints mention lines snaking 10–15 people deep at the single bar, plus a wait while one staffer works both drinks and food orders. Seating in that immediate area is limited, so you may end up juggling a tray on your lap by the gate.

Tip: if you want a hot meal here, order as soon as you clear security, then carry it to seating near your actual gate; if you already ate in town, stick to a quick drink and keep an eye on those boarding screens.
