This lot sits directly in front of the terminal, so the walk from your car to the check-in doors is usually under 2–3 minutes. If you’re not being dropped at the curb, this is the closest option to the building.

The Short Term Car Park runs as a classic short-stay setup for drop-offs, pick-ups, and brief trips of a day or two, rather than week-long parking. Pricing at BDA historically penalizes longer stays, which is why locals mention rarely leaving a car here beyond a quick pickup window. Payment is at on-site machines by the terminal entrance, with rates stepping up every hour.

There’s no shuttle here; you just park and walk about 100–150 meters to the terminal doors. That’s faster than arranging a taxi from nearby St. George’s, which can run about 5–10 minutes by car. Lighting and traffic markings are basic but functional, and it’s all open-air, so in heavy Bermuda rain you’ll have 30–60 seconds of exposure between your car and the terminal canopy.

Regulars often skip the lot altogether and circle the access road until their passenger sends a “through customs” text, then pull up for a 2–3 minute curbside pickup. That only works smoothly off-peak; during the afternoon bank of North American arrivals, police sometimes move cars along after a minute or two. Build a 10–15 minute buffer on busy days so you’re not forced into a rushed loop of the terminal road.
