Most booking apps list a “Private Lounge” at BDA that locals don’t recognize

Aggregation sites often show a “Private Lounge” in the L.F. Wade International main terminal, but forum threads and trip reports going back to 2022 point only to airline-branded lounges and FBO/charter facilities, not a walk-up space with that exact name.

At BDA’s single passenger terminal, the only clear “private” facilities sit on the charter and FBO side, and the airport’s own lounge page highlights US and international departures lounges by airline, with no separate “Private Lounge” brand listed in the same way.

Because terminal and gate details for this so-called Private Lounge show as blank in multiple databases (no terminal code, no gate assignment, no posted hours), it likely maps to a generic charter waiting area rather than a standard post-security lounge you can find on the departures concourse.

Access notes on some apps mention “Main Terminal, charter,” which lines up with how charter guests at BDA sometimes check in through shared counters in the main building, then shift to an FBO-style room managed by the charter operator instead of an airline lounge.

With no listed day-pass price, and no published opening hours, you should assume this space, if it exists at all, runs on a private manifest: you get in because your charter contract says so, not because you pay $45 at the door or swipe Priority Pass.
