Only lounge in BCN Terminal T2, by Gate U

Sala VIP Canudas is the only lounge in T2 at Barcelona–El Prat and sits on the first floor near Gate U in T2B, so this is the default option if you want a seat and a plug before flying Vueling charters or other low‑cost carriers from this pier.

The lounge runs fixed hours from 06:00 to 22:00, and doors are shut outside that window, so anyone on a 05:40 or 22:30 departure in T2 usually eats and waits in the main terminal instead of banking on getting in here.

Access is straightforward: Canudas takes Priority Pass and similar memberships, plus walk‑ins, with a published day pass of €33.90 for adults and €15.60 for children, which some economy passengers pay on long delays when every seat at the gate area is taken.

Being above the boarding area near Gates U means it works best for T2B flights; if you are leaving from a far end of other T2 piers, add at least 10–15 minutes to walk back to your gate after you leave the lounge.

Food and drink are in classic Aena lounge territory: basic self‑serve snacks, light cold items and standard coffee machines rather than anything cooked to order, so regulars mainly use it for Wi‑Fi and power outlets rather than treating it as their main meal stop.

The €33.90 walk‑in rate feels steep if you only have 45–60 minutes, but can be worth it on a two‑ or three‑hour delay when you want a guaranteed chair, quieter space than the main T2 hall and working sockets for a laptop.

Because this is the sole T2 lounge with fixed 06:00–22:00 hours, experienced flyers with Priority Pass often grab a larger breakfast or late dinner in the public area first, then use Canudas simply as a place to sit, charge, and check email before heading to Gate U.

Practical tip: if your flight departs from another T2 pier but you still want lounge time, head to Canudas immediately after security in T2, watch the screens for a gate assignment, then leave the lounge at least 30 minutes before boarding to avoid a stressed power‑walk across the terminal.
